music. i love it.

Highschool!

I LOVE HIGHSCHOOL!!! It is soo much fun!! i know so many knew, exciting, CRAZY people! haha :) The weeks fly by even though im exausted all the time! :) but guess what!! i've only missed one day so far! haha ;) yeah, im proud of myself. ha. :) I don't think i've put this on yet.. but i ran for president against three other people, Austin Whitley, Rachel Parsons, and Hans Mueller-Schrueder, and... I WON!!! Yayy! :D :D i was so happy :) haha its a lot of fun being Freshman class president :) Homecoming just got over and we spent three Saturdays for seven hours building floats. :) Then i went to that dance with a group of people that Taylor Smith put together. The party beforehand was fun.. but the dance.. UGH. grossness. Tessa, Romney, Lauren, and I left and saw the movie cloudy with a chance of meatballs! :) (which is really funny). Right now our school is doing the food drive and preparing for the diabetes walk :) Lots of fun :) :)
Seminary is fun! Biology- ehh. my teacher doesn't teach us excactly whats on the test.. :P Stugo- a blast! Band- it WAS fun. when i was in it.. basically its a cult. :) Math- easy. L/A- still my favorite, but my teacher is a lune. coo coo! :0)
spanish- easy peasy. although my teachers gay (literally) and has a meltdown everyday, its pretty good :)

wow i really need to do some updating..

I went to efy at BYU in utah and i had a blast. My camera is having problems (again) and isn't downloading the pictures but im working on that. I met a lot of great people and miss all of them so much!! even though i know i will probably never see them ever again.. :'(

School has started and i now go to Mt. Ridge! wooo!! Ya!!! (im wearing a spirit shirt right now so i have to be all peppy.) :D School is a lot of fun but i don't get enough rest at all. Im meeting a lot of people and i signed up to run as Freshman President, against three other people, but i think they are from the same school, so that will split their vote up. :)

Im in band and let me be the first to say that it is a cult :) one hour practice monday, 3 and a half hour practice tuesday and thursday, and occasionally on saturdays a 4 1/2 hour practice too. Maybe if i didn't have other things going it wouldn't be such a big deal. I still have piano, mutual, homework, regular percussion class, etc. But i know some people are even more busy so i won't complain too much- but just a little ;)

Finals!

I have been doing 2 online classes this summer and I had my finals today! For fitness class I had to be at the school at 7:30 to run a mile and do a situp and push- up test. After that I had the writing portion of the fitness final and i wasn't sure how I did. I finished early so I went to my next class, Health, to start that final. It had 100 questions and I thought it was sooo easy! I finished before a lot of the other kids :) Then i went back and checked to see what my grade was for my fitness final and.... I got 99% right!!!!!! I am so excited to see how i did in health since i thought that one was easier :D Thank you dad, who helped me study till late last night and ensured that I did the best I could!!

Girls Camp!
Girls camp was amazing! my mom worked so hard for it to be as good as it was! Christy came and I was so glad she was there to make it even more fun! The first night there were a lot of fun activities for us to do and later in camp we went on a five mile hike. It rained a lot while we were up there and it was sooo hot when we came home. I miss the weather and everything else.

The Hunters came to town in search of somewhere to live since they are moving here. Miley turned 2 on the 17th and she is getting so big! Not to mention she knows my name! :) Also, I FINALLY got to see Anya! She is soooooo cute!!! i really miss all of them, and i can't wait till they move here!

ugh... I am so ready for my classes to be over!! Finals are Friday and now I can't go to Women's conference in mexico.. oh well. I guess I can go to womens conference in a couple more years.

Introducing My two nieces! Miley and Anya! They are sooo cute!

A week ago I had my band competition where there are three judges and they each give you an individual rating. We played three songs for them and we got 2 superiors, (superior is the best you can get), and 1 excellent (second best). This means that our over all rating was superior!

At school we read the outsiders and we had to do a debate on it. We were given a stance in the argument and a position that we had to be in the agument. I had to be a "soc", or a social, wich were the wealthier kids in the 60's. My team was facing the greasers, like in the movie grease :), and we were arguing the point that "Johnny was unjustified for killing Bob". Each time it was our turn to go, one person would walk up to the podium and talk for 3 minutes or less then get down and let the other team go... Well, it worked a little differently... No one else on my team would go so I was the only one on my team that got up to speak for every turn. The other team got to switch off! :} It was very nerve racking. Well My teacher ended up calling the debate a draw! She says she has never done that before and that was her first time. :)

I don't know if I have said this before, but I am on the Yearbook club, I took pictures for it and helped put the pictures in place and type names in it. it was a lot of fun! Last night I stayed at the school 'till about 9:00 and sorted them. The yearbooks came out today and they look pretty good!

So, I think I have have said this, but I am in National Junior Honors Society (NJHS). Today was the ceremony in which the upcoming members recieve certificates and take our places, and all the eighth grade members recieving certificates and see hoe many hours of Community service we got. I had 74 hours and everyone put together got over 3,000 hours! :)

Also, in a week I will be on Summer break and be a 8th grade graduate and moving on to high school! ***By the way MY PROMOTION IS AT 5:00 ON WEDNESDAY NEXT WEEK, or the 20th.*** I am sad because I have made a ton of really good friends here in middle school, and when we graduate I will only see a few of them ever again, of course besides the ones going to the same high school as me... :( Well I'm gonna end this post so I don't get all depressed. well on Friday I got to babysit my cute nephew Alexander for the first time- just him and I! :) He is getting so big! I wish I could show you pics but my pictures won't load onto the computer... sorry :)

I can't wait to go up to Colorado and see my niece Anya for the first time! She is cute in all her pictures and want to hold her :( Also I really miss Miley, Nicole and Dan. Okay well enough complaing...

On Thursday this week I have a band competition that I have been training for along with my band at school. I don't think we will get a very good score though because there are a lot of people in the band that don't care about it and only goof off. But I am trying my best to make my parts sound perfect! :) I will post later this week about how it went :)

Anya Chari Hunter

New Niece

By the end of this week I will have a new little niece! :) I am so excited! Miley is going to be a big sister- can you believe it!? My parents are going up to see her when she comes and I am incredibly jealous that i don't get to go see her...

Also.. Sorry about the fact that I have no recent pictures. My camera just won't let me download the pictures of Alexander, and everything else. I will keep trying.. keep your fingers crossed! :)

I got new glasses

On Saturday I got new glasses! i can see the board in class, and my music in band! it is great!
Also on Saturday it was Garage sale day and I made $23.19! :) ok well have a good monday everyone :D

Easter

hi everyone! I am in Mexico with mom, dad, brandon, alyssa, and uncle ron. It is sooooo windy! I can't believe it! there is sand flying across the roads and the moon is huge! I love it here! <3 Well have a great Easter everyone!

Glasses

I had my first eye exam ever today. They had me pick out some glasses and i am going to wear them for reading, watching t.v., in class, etc. The 2 glasses I liked the best were too big, and too small. haha ya.. so i kept looking and i will get the ones i picked in 10 to 14 working days. I don't know if I will like the whole glasses part but i am excited to be able to see! -this is a smiley wearing glasses - B)
